WHAT ARE THE
COURSE DATES?
For the first weekend, candidates arrive early in the
morning of Friday, Jan. 29, 2010 and will depart in
the late afternoon on Sunday, Jan. 31, 2010. For the
second weekend, candidates arrive early in the morning of
Friday, Feb. 19, 2010 and will depart in the late afternoon on
Sunday, Feb. 21, 2010.
WHERE WILL
THE COURSE BE HELD?
Wood Badge 92 will be held at Camp Wisdom, located in
Duncanville, Texas. Camp Wisdom consists of both the Cub
World facility and Billy Sowell Scout Camp. More information on Camp

WHAT IS THE
COST?
The course fee is $220. A deposit of $55 is due with your
registration
agreement form, with the balance no later than Dec. 15,
2009.
WHERE WILL I
SLEEP?
On both weekends, you will be providing your own tent.
WHAT ABOUT
MEALS?
Cooking on the first weekend will be done by Wood Badge
staff. On the second weekend, your patrol will be preparing
backpacking type food that your patrol has purchased.
WHAT IF I
NEED A SPECIAL DIET?
We will attempt to assist with any special dietary needs if
we are informed of such needs in advance. Please note your
needs on the Personal Resource Questionnaire.
ARE THERE ANY
MEDICAL RESTRICTIONS FOR THE COURSE?
NO medical limitations should prevent you from participating
in this course; however, a
BSA Medical Form is required.
WHAT ARE THE
UNIFORM REQUIREMENTS?
You will wear a full official BSA field uniform for your
position in Scouting. A full uniform consists of a Scout
shirt, Scout pants or shorts, Scout belt, and Scout socks.
There are times dring the course when you may wear an
"activity uniform" consisting of a course T-shirt (that will
be provided), Scout pants or shorts, Scout belt, and Scout
socks.
WHAT GEAR DO
I NEED TO BRING?
The personal equipment list for each weekend of the course
can be downloaded in the
Resource Center.
WILL WE DO
ANY HIKING OR BACKPACKING?
On the second weekend, we will backpack in Camp Wisdom.
This will be a short hike not an endurance test.
WHAT WILL THE
WEATHER BE LIKE?
Weather in north Texas can mean any number of things; cool
nights, warm days, thunderstorms. Texas weather is
unpredictable so you’ll need to be prepared by bringing
appropriate clothing and gear.
